My experience as a speaker in the health forum

When my daughter Esha’s teacher Ms.Smitha asked me to talk about a system of human body which kids were learning as their unit I agreed. But I was sceptical about how much they know and how much they have learned and how in depth I need to talk about.

I was asked to tclip_image002alk on human nervous system. For me being a physician and a specialist in Infectious diseases, the topic was a little too far away from my basic sciences days in the medical school. It was an interesting opportunity to brush up all over again about the finer details of nervous system.

Yes, finally I was ready for the young enthusiasts in the simplest and most common terminology I could use to make them understand the very basics of the nervous system.

When I was standing in front of entire 4th graders and trying to understand how much they knew, to my surprise they knew most of the information about the system which made my job easier.
