We had a Guest Lecture on Newspaper Reading, Report writing and editing by Ms. Madhulita Das. She is a freelance journalist and a wonderful speaker. She kept us engrossed throughout the session by her immense knowledge. The session was very interactive. We all felt that we learnt a lot and got interested to know more about report writing. We learnt about Inverted Pyramid style of report writing. By the end of the session our vocabulary got richer by words like Locking, Beat and News Desk. All in all it was a wonderful session.

Nandita, Rohini (V F) and Bhavya (VE)

The talk was a pleasant experience. It was a pleasure listening to the queries the children had. I was surprised to see as many as 85% of the children of grade 5 are reading newspaper today. Most of them got interested in the investigative journalism and crime reporting. It was really hard to stop both the sessions.
