DRAMA INTEGRATION-GRADE 1
Integrating
with their unit of inquiry on ‘Force’ students of Grade 1, did mime actions using different energy levels for the
activity ‘Animal bath’, where they chose their favorite animal and gave it a
bath. The students presented the mime with great enthusiasm and used very
interesting expressions.
DRAMA INTEGRATION - GRADE 2
Integrating
with their unit of inquiry on seasons ,
students of grade 2 prepared and performed skits in groups, on the given script
‘A man and his four sons’ , with a moral
about perseverance through tough season. Each group presented in an interesting
manner, incorporating the various elements of drama.
DRAMA INTEGRATION - GRADE 3
Integrating
with their unit of inquiry on Matter and material, students of grade 3 selected
material of their choice and changed it to new purpose for their drama
presentation. The students explored various possibilities of manipulating the
material for new purpose and used their thinking and creativity in their
learning process.
Drama
Integration - Grade 4
Integrating
with their unit of inquiry on ‘body systems’, students of grade 4 learnt about techniques
of effective breathing to get more depth in voice. They also used the strategy
of six thinking hats to show their understanding of the same. The students not
only enjoyed their exploration on this element of drama, but also participated
with enthusiasm, learning and reflecting through out.
