FIRST AID is the immediate help given to somebody who has been injured, or who suddenly becomes ill, before medical help is available. Our teachers had a training session by our school medical officer Dr Nazia Khan on handling emergencies in class room and school. The session gave an insight on how to handle basic injuries, bumps, fractures, nose bleeding, seizures, choking (Heimlich maneuver)(allergies, asthma and many more important topics along with doing the CPR(Cardio pulmonary resuscitation). The importance of knowing proper history and observation were highlighted in taking care of the children.
