Clean up is an important part of our pre primary program, as it
teaches self-reliance, care of the environment, responsibility, sorting, and a
host of other skills. A great system as far as teaching the students to take
responsibility for themselves. As a part of the CAS, Our tiny tots helped in basic room
cleaning all by themselves by picking up garbage in play area , wiping the
tables
cleaning up the classroom, tidying up their cubby holes, even arranging the chairs and
tables. The principle behind this lesson, that one must take responsibility of
their actions.
The Pre Primary Children not only actively participated in the
activity but also gave suggestions on the same. Suggestions included Keeping
the class library cleans, arranging the beads and blocks on a daily basis and
also taking care of the resources in the class.
