Student’s Reflection: A Step to Quench the Thirst of Many

In the first week of April, the little champs of Oakridge took a noble initiative to quench the thirst of many by selling lemonades and juices at school and raising a fund for the needy. What a kind gesture!!

They put up a lot of attractive posters to grab people’s attention. They catered to the taste buds of buyers with iced tea, orange juice and lemonade — all different flavors were refreshingly cool. Even the prices were quite reasonable.

The drinks were bought by most of the Junior School children. Even the teachers and the staff were ready to buy them. This event was planned on three different days for each Grade. The cash counter was also neatly organized. The cashiers were amazing at mental math and quick to settle the difference amount to us.

Great Job, Second Graders!! You are surely turning out to be socially conscious leaders. You made Oakridge proud with your caring and enthusiastic attitude.
