Curriculum Day Grade 5

Curriculum day on 5 July brought together the parents and teachers of grade 5 under one roof .The day was well planned with a prior agenda sent to parents .The three sessions conducted had good number of parents attending it  thus making the day substantially  successful. Parents had first-hand experience of the math and language arts  learning engagements  used in the classrooms .This session helped parents understand the strategies and skills used to weave the multi –disciplinary program. Concept of paraprofessionals was shared with parents and they also nominated themselves for class moms /dads, these are few opportunities for parents to involve themselves in their child’s education. The day ended by parents reflecting on the session through the on line tool PADLET.Few reflections of the session.
