Do Re Mi… And We Sing Along…

Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without. , every new rhythm gives life a whole new meaning.
We the teachers of pre-primary grade at the Oakridge Newton campus had an amazing sing along session on the third Saturday of this month the 19th of July.
The singing teachers of our school Mr.James and Mrs.Laxmi Prasanna lead us through this session. As teachers we learnt how to listen to an instructor and follow directions of key, and the rhythm. For many of us it was a very first experience with symphony.
They taught us the different ways of rhythmic clapping of hands, we also got to understand that there’s much more to just singing a song, the rhythm the beat the tone should always be in tune.
It was a one of a kind session where we as teachers truly understood the importance and precision given to music.
