A day at MMPS government school

I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.
Youth is that wonderful time in life when energy is limitless, human creativity is at its best and the ’never say die’ spirit is at its peak.
The team of 9G planned a visit to the school on 1st September 2014 led by Nigarish Khan and Shalini Samuel. All the students were part of the visit .We started at 10 am and reached the school at 10.30am.The students of 9 G (IGCSE) took the initiative of conducting classes for the students of Grade 1-5. The students were divided into five groups and each group was assigned a respective class. The subjects mainly covered were Math, English Grammar and science. They planned subject related activities to portray their subject knowledge and helped the students of the school to understand the concept of a subject in a differentiated manner. The teachers of school cooperated with the teachers and the students of our school.
Group I was made of HARSHIT, ADITYA, SANSKAR, ANEESH AND VINAY.
Group II was made of SHRAVYA, NAVYA, PRANAVI, SOMYA AND SHREYA.
Group II was made of ANANYA, ARUSHI, NEHA AND NITYA.
Group IV was made of SRITEJA, NINAD, SIDHARTH, RUSHABH AND PRADYOTH.
Group V was made of SUNKEERTH, SESHAYE, KAUSHIK, ARINDHAM AND VARUN.
The session was fruitful as there was quality learning of 2 hours. The students shared their views and stories to make the learning interesting.
9th G left to return back to school promising the little angels to visit again soon. The return trip was a sad feeling of leaving the new counterparts that were formed during the visit.
The class learnt that there is much joy in giving back to society and that language is not a barrier when it comes to communicating with others. They learnt to cooperate and to be patient while dealing with others.
It was an enjoyable and memorable visit.
