MYP segment has celebrated International Dot Day to encourage students’ creativity and courage.
International Dot Day (15th September) is a global celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration.
The Dot is the story written by Peter Reynolds, of a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark”. What begins with a small dot on a piece of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage, igniting a journey of self-discovery and sharing.
The program started by making a mark on a canvas and lighting the lamp. Students, teachers and parents as well have enjoyed this fun filling hour which is to make a mark.
