Our unit so far…

Government has been a very interesting topic and unit so far. I learnt about how India got freedom, what is democracy. I inquired that India is a socialist and secular country. I used to wonder what is Executive, Legislature and Judiciary but now I know about the Three Pillars, Constitution, Preamble and a lot more. We also had a guest lecture by three parents who represented US, UK and Indian government. I understood that government guides the country, makes laws, and protects the borders and us. Government collects taxes to make roads, provide food, water, schools, hospitals etc. Government mainly works for the development of the country. Indeed, government is a very interesting unit and I am eagerly waiting to learning more. By- Siddharth – V A
