Student-initiated Action on Human Body Systems

After inquiring about the human body systems in class, students took the initiative to research more about the human body systems and became members of http://www.brainpop.com/. They registered themselves, saw videos, played quizzes, and enriched their knowledge on the Unit.

Peek A Boo — Nursery

The day seemed to be shining brighter when the youngest Oakridgers hit the stage with stunning performances on 28th March in MPH with Nursery’s annual event. The theme was “Jungle” — it was amazing to see the tiny tots dressed up with various elements of nature.

The event started with a beautiful welcome dance by the peacocks. The cutest were the tribal dance children, with the penguins coming all the way from the cold mountains to join other friends for the dance party.

Everything seemed to be so beautiful from the eyes of these amazing stars which was loved by the audience. We would like to thank all the parents who volunteered to dance and gave a brilliant performance for all the students and the audience — it was a total surprise to their little ones!! The teachers too wanted to treat; so, they got together for a farewell song and wished all the children good luck throughout!!

Welcome U Prep Seattle!!

For the fifth consecutive year, we have the U Prep students visiting the Newton campus as part of the Student Exchange Program. International Student Exchange is one of the many initiatives of Oakridge Newton campus to promote understanding of various cultures and in shaping Oakridgers as global citizens.

The group is on a two-week visit and is thoroughly at home enjoying their stay with the host families in Hyderabad. We wish to extend our thanks to all the families hosting the students for their support and cooperation in our initiative to build relationships across the globe.
